  • Mountain Biking

Bhutan’s mountain biking journeys offer an exhilarating way to explore the kingdom’s landscapes—where winding roads, forest trails, and high mountain passes reveal a side of Bhutan few get to experience. Riding through pristine valleys and remote villages, each route combines adventure with a deep sense of place, taking you across ever-changing terrain framed by the Himalayas. From smooth scenic rides to challenging climbs and thrilling descents, these journeys are designed for a range of abilities. Along the way, cyclists pass through traditional settlements, ancient monasteries, and untouched countryside, creating a unique blend of physical challenge, cultural immersion, and natural beauty. Popular routes include the ride from Dochula Pass to Punakha, a breathtaking descent through forests with panoramic Himalayan views, and the Paro to Thimphu trail, which combines rolling terrain with cultural highlights. For more adventurous riders, longer multi-day journeys across western and central Bhutan offer high-altitude passes, remote landscapes, and a true sense of expedition. Each biking experience is fully supported and can be tailored to your pace, skill level, and interests—ensuring a journey that is as rewarding as it is unforgettable.
